Human-Centered Human with a Passion for Technology* *among other things, including but not limited to dogs
Hello hi! It's super nice to meet you.
I'm a recent Computer Science graduate (August 2022) from UC Berkeley. I was fortunate to study the absolute coolest subdomain of CS, Human Computer Interaction. I'm endlessly curious about the ways that technology can better benefit humankind. I'm a champion for interventions of at all levels of maturity: everything from novel innovation to iterating on and pivoting seemingly immobile, longstanding structures and systems. I like working within multifaceted problem spaces with seemingly opposing stakeholders. I believe that there is always a sensible intervention that maximizing the goals of all stakeholders. I love finding that common ground works maximally works for all stakeholders. I like to work on problems with no objectively right answer. But, whatever problem I'm solving, human-ness remains the focal point. I like to learn how other people percieve the world around them and I like learning the pieces that uncover those things. I love being told that I am wrong. The world is constantly changing and I can only see the world from my view. Being told I'm wrong and altering my worldview is one of the greatest gifts a person can give.
What an excellent question. I want to help design and develop novel technologies that benefits humanity. I want to solve complex problems. I want to use all aspects of my experience including design, engineering, management, and user research. I'm looking for a job that encourages risk-taking and iterates based on 'mistakes'. I'm looking for a job with a voice and the ability.
I'm reading my way through the Pulitzers and the Little Free Libraries of Berkeley, CA (which I believe has some of the weirdest and most wonderful in the world).
Truly this doesn't even begin to cover it but...

After the vaccine was widely avaliable, I made it my goal to see more live music. So far, I've seen an average of one show a week since September 2021!
I'm a huge fan of yoga. So much so that I got certified to teach yoga (RYT-200) and taught for two years.

I'm a firm believer that all food tastes better outside with a view. So, if the weather is nice, I'll go for a picnic over eating inside any day.
I've been actively writing poems, essays, and songs every day since August 2021.
So far, I written over 160,000 words. That's about two novels.
Am I going to publish any of those words? I mean, I don't know. I am not currently writing with intent to publish but that may change.
This served as inspiration for the Music and HCI project. Given that I have such an large corpus of writings, I want to find ways to explore my own work in ways that in ways that help accentuate the artist voice.
